I have been using it ever since, once a week, updating it when it says there is a new version and have not had any problems. I asked the same question you're asking and was reassured that adw was OK. I downloaded the actual program from the developer's site, sent it to VirusTotal, and got this:Īs I already said, though, I am 100% confident it's clean. If you get it from the developer's site, VirusTotal doesn't flag anything. I am 100% confident there is no malware in the download, and 3 positives are false. Three questionable scanners report a problem, while 53 others (including well respected AVG, Avast, BitDefender, Kaspersky, Malwarebytes, Sophos, Symantec, and so on) do not. It does NOT appear to be clean with the same 3 items as in my previous 5 downloads. I just finished downloading and checked the file with VirusTotal and it found the SAME 3 items listed in my OP.
